ow I remember why I purchased those batteries the other day at Home Depot. We had a brown out (at least in my apartment, for about 5 seconds) on Saturday. It reset my Tivo and my alarm clock. My alarm clock is supposed to have battery backup, but apparently the last one is dead, so I reset the time, and went out (during all the activity of the day) and bought a battery. Getting home, I forgot to stick it into the alarm clock.... so this morning, when I woke up, I realized my error.....and the error of setting the time, but not the alarm :) Sooo, I'm running about 20 minutes behind schedule, which will likely keep this short.

My cold (version 2.0, I had 1.0 just before Christmas) has settled deep in my chest... just deep enough that I have to cough, but it doesn't do any good. My mom suggested that it may have something to do with the change in environment, and she may have something. The water is weird out here, and my apartment still smells of either fresh paint or fresh carpet. I've been trying to air it out as often as possible, but it does get cool here in the evenings, and it's not been above the middle 60s all weekend, which is downright frigid here :)

So, I continue to do the box thing. Currently, I'm moving stuff out of old misshapen boxes into standardized size and stronger boxes before I move them off to the storage closet. I've tossed about 3 boxes worth of trash, and found some stuff I'd forgotten I had, including some tools which I really need to leave out. I spent some time Sunday with an old friend, shopping at the hardware store for items for my new entertainment center. We spent the first part of the day watching the Ravens win. I was surprised and disappointed at the breakdown in the Vikings, but pleased that the Ravens did well. Mostly for the city of Baltimore, less so for the owner. The city of Baltimore is a nice, clean, and enjoyable city. My brother used to live outside it, and I've attended many a baseball game there, both at Memorial Stadium and at Orioles Stadium at Camden Yards.

Well, I must be off to work. Have a great week!
