Of course, I did look at some new apartments, and then some homes. In fact, I saw a house that would sell for about $100K in Mooville that was listed in El Cajon for $240K. I had to laugh at the flier they provided... it seemed to emphasize weird things like a spice rack and a switched electrical outlet for christmas lights. I'm sure that many people are running around looking for homes that have a built in spice rack. I wonder if the homeowner wrote the text, or if it was the realtor? I also looked at some extremely nice properties, and determined that anything marked "dream home" was way out of my price range. Got stood up again yesterday morning by several people. It provided an opportunity for Robert and I to run our mini-characters in the games, and he was able to level. I'm really unhappy that I haven't seen the others since before Christmas. Some of that was my fault (unwilling to hunt at 28.8 bps) but I've been looking for them for 6 weeks, and it seems like work, children, or sleep keeps getting in the way. The odd thing, at least in terms of sleep, is that I'm the one getting up the earliest... the others are two and three time zones away. Ah, well. I'll send a letter, and get promised "next week for sure". It's nice to have Suz back and posting. Now, I'm off to work. It's raining again.
