is likely my last post for a week or two. I'm planning on moving
as much stuff this weekend over to the new house as possible.
While I'll leave the PC over at the apartment, still connected
to the DSL, my time for writing this journal will be limited,
as I do it first thing after getting dressed in the morning.
This means while sleeping at the new house, and while waiting
for the DSL line to get installed there, I won't have access
to the PC in the morning. Suz's machine will go over this weekend,
but mine will stay here until we get connection. And, I'm going
to be in LA from Wednesday through Sunday, so there won't be
any time here to write.
I guess the anticipation is filling me, and forcing other things out. I find I don't have much on my mind beyond the regular concerns for my family and friends. My mother got a "you're doing fine, considering" checkup as she continues in her chemo-therapy, and my sister is being removed from the "don't have your baby yet" drugs. I still have to finalize the discussion with Suz as to who gets what bedroom, for if I'm moving bedroom stuff tomorrow, I want to put it in the bedroom where it's going to stay.
Tonight, I get to help a friend pack up some speakers, and then spend the night at the house sleeping on the floor, waiting for the cable guy, who's supposed to be at the house sometime between 8AM and Noon. On the other hand, it's entirely possible that I'll give in, sleep here in my bed, and just get up at my normal time, to be over there. We'll have to see. I'd love to avoid that, but who knows what I'll feel like at 10PM this evening.
