ot a lot rumbling around in my brain right now. It purports to be a busy day. Not only are we attending the 11AM showing of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, but first I have to spend some rather frantic moments going over some budget numbers with the new boss. Things have been in a state of flux recently, which is good from my perspective. Someone quit yesterday, and while I'm releived that they did, I'm concerned about it occurring so close to Christmas. And now to hear Motorola's laying off another 16,000...I can only hope those people get some sort of severance packages.

Why is it that in my mind, occlusion means peaceful? I noticed last night as I went to bed that the valley below was covered in fog, and looked so peaceful. I've mentioned that feeling before in terms of covering the landscape with snow. Perhaps it is the natural sound altering properties of these weather patterns that gives me this feeling. Most curious.

Well, busy day today. Sorry to be so brief. I'm also trying to fix my copy of Internet Explorer, which has stopped opening up secondary windows properly. I now get a slightly different icon in my task bar with different shading than a normal IE window, and nothing ever gets filled into that window. I'm about ready to uninstall, and reinstall by now.
