oo
much caffeine and sugar last night meant it was hard to get to sleep.
I was pretty charged up by the time I got home from "game night",
and had that "I'm tired, but not sleepy" thing going pretty
well. Watched some TV, finished a book, and lie there for a while before
finally slipping away. Of course, low sleep leads to interesting thoughts
when I wake up to the radio... this morning, I heard the weather. Lows
in the mid 30s, highs in the 80s. I think I need to research more into
weather and seasonal changes. It doesn't seem logical to me that temps
can be that high in the daytime, and then that low at night. Obviously,
the heat is being dissapated into the night, but why is it different in
the summer? Sure, I know the world is tilted differently, but if it can
get just as hot during the daytime in either season, I'm not sure I understand
why the variance at night. So, I think I'll be doing some research, if
this continues to bother me for several more hours.
Well, late to bed means late to rise, and I don't
want to be late to work. Gryph, I still haven't gotten that link to work
yet. Big hugs to my little sister!
