idn't get as much done this weekend as I'd have liked to. Suz and I were talking on Thursday night, and I'd given her a list of about 20 jobs, each only 10 minutes to an hour long that I really wanted to get done, but work stepped in. Something happened on Friday that caused me to have to work the entire weekend, so the amount of energy I had once I got home was slim to none, which means that a significant amount of the work I intended to do didn't occur. Well, truth be told, since I didn't write down that huge list, I couldn't remember a significant portion of it either :) But my motivation level was fairly low, as well. Probably because I spent Thursday night sleeping in the bathroom.

I'd gone to bed around 11PM as normal, and within about 5 minutes, I'd killed around 15 ants crawling on my body. It was obvious that the bedroom had been hit, although I've no idea why. I neither drink nor eat in there, so what would attract them beats me. In any case, I'd tried sleeping on the couch for a bit, which worked initially, but I found it too narrow (I should have removed the back cushions, I bet), and too soft, so I ended up lying on the floor in the bathroom, which worked fairly well, except for the odd dreams (ambulances outside, but I was paralyzed and couldn't get up to see what was going on). So, I sprayed the bedroom down before leaving for work, and was able to sleep in there again Friday night, much more comfortably.

I enjoyed the CART race yesterday, from Mid-Ohio race course in Lexington, Ohio. Probably not so much for the race itself, but more so for the memories it brought back to me. I've spent several years attending that particular race, both with Steve, my buddy from Virginia, and my parents, and just seeing the aerial shots brought back thoughts of where we'd been on the course, hobbling around the year I went up on crutches, and some wonderful camping sites. Good memories, all of them. If it wasn't so bloody far, I'd see about going again. I love the race course, and the middle of Ohio is lovely country.
