Of course, I did just get home from a week that was approaching 90 hours of work. It's Sunday night, nigh on 10PM, and I just got home, took the trash out, and started the laundry. I took a moment to look up at the night sky, as many of the planets are visible, and this is the first night we haven't had a significant marine layer of clouds impeding our view, and while I gazed up at the sky, a falling star (I've no idea whether it was a meteor or a meteorite) crossed my vision. A sign, I'd take it. I don't want to whine about the hours I've been working, though, as I'm making some progress in my career. I've made another goal, as you can see here. I'm quite pleased by this, although it will be coming with some crushing responsibility. Although to say the job isn't fun is a lie. I'm having the more fun than a barrel of monkeys, although my spare time isn't much. We've been preparing for the fifth anniversary fan faire in Vega this coming weekend, and a ton of play testing has been involved. I've got to say, we've got a good game on our hands. We just need to get it finished. In the meantime, I managed to wangle a new cell phone, so my old number isn't valid anymore. I broke down and got a California number, so it would be easier for folks around here to call me. If you need my new number, feel free to drop me an email. Well, I'm off to see about the clothes, and then toddle off to bed. Consider yourselves hugged, each and every one of you. |
